Product overview

Galileo CK4600 is designed for laboratories that need a flexible computer-driven instrument with precise positioning and the possibility to support advanced TMA configurations.

  • Computer-assisted operation
  • Loading capacity (one configuration at a time):
    • 12 standard tissue cassettes — up to 11 replicas, or
    • 6 standard + 1 Macro cassette in any combination, or
    • 3 standard cassettes + 1 Macro + 1 microvial plate (96/384)
  • Wide range of punch needles: 0.6 / 1.0 / 1.5 / 2.0 mm diameter, plus 3.0 / 4.0 / 5.0 mm diameter
  • Precision core selection — three modes:
    • No overlay — work directly on the tissue image
    • Manual overlay — position a glass slide directly on the tissue cassette
    • Digital overlay — import a marked slide showing the area of interest and align it to the tissue image using a 3-point matching function
  • Digital report — images of each donor block, with the position of every core extracted

Typical workflow

Use the instrument as part of a complete digital TMA workflow.

1
Plan

Define donor list, core size, controls and recipient map.

2
Select ROI

Use block or slide images to support precise tissue selection.

3
Construct

Build the TMA block with controlled coordinates and documentation.

4
Section

Prepare TMA slides for IHC, multiplexing or spatial assays.

5
Analyze

Connect TMA map to digital image analysis and scoring.
